These are dark times for me. My life is far from perfect for so many reasons... but here's a thing I'm sure about: you can always turn to movies to feel whatever you need to feel.
Last night was a hard night... but then I arrived at home and, not feeling ready to sleep, I put on a Bridget Jones' Film. I thought laughing was off the table but then she starts with her life troubles, she falls and she laughs... and I laughed so much it even hurted a bit.

That's what I mean.

You don't need a whole film to make you feel... just your favourite Hollywood couple and a friend (your best friend and muse) to make you smile. I was feeling down... then, out of nothing, she sends me a Youtube link to a video from this year's Oscars Red Carpet - the moment Kate Winslet and Leonardo Dicaprio share some seconds together in front of us. You see? They are having the time of their lives, together after so much... and I smile. I smiled for then, but also for my dear Diana, who knew I was feeling down and knew how to make me feel better.

Films are important even for those who don't believe it. We have so many problems in our normal lifes - but when you sit down an watch a good movie you can forget about everything. You can smile and laugh even feeling depressed, and you can cry if that's what you need. You can be whatever you cant to be, and feel as much as you want to feel... Actors make us believe and love, they make us realise some things about life and sometimes movies (and yeah, that happened to me!) offer you the answer you were seeking for.

My answer? You should write films. You should fight for the movie making dreams.

And even through dark times... writing films is the one thing that makes me feel on track.

I'm working in several projects right now including my first screenplay for a feature film... and this "cute little project" under the title "Movieland".

What's all about, you're asking? Well... that's confidential for now... but I can offer you a first scoop about this film, if you promise to keep the secret!

-Movieland will be my first project to be shoot (probably).
-It is my first attempt inside the amazing world of Animation & Stop Motion.
-Movieland is currently in pre-production and I'm just in the early stages of development.
-It will be an Animated Short, inspired by the amazing and magical world of movies.

Stay tuned for more information and news about this amazing project by following this blog and /or my different social media accounts.
I hope to let you see a glimpse of this adventure in early 2017 (right after Christmas? Just saying...)

What can you tell me about your dreams?

I can tell you everything about mine... almost everyone who knows a little about who I am can actually tell you a lot about my dreams. I used to dream in words... but now I dream in moving pictures, cameras rolling... and fade in: my destiny.

If you had read my last (and first) post here you already know I'm a writer... or I'm trying to be one. Someone said you are a writer if you write... so perhaps I should say I am a writer trying to be a professional writer. Yeah, that suits me better!
So yes, I am a writer.

As a writer I have my own ways to work my craft... and one of the most important things for me... one of the reason why I can write my stories is because of them: the muses.
Muses and not muse... because I have more than one... and all of them are equally important during the development of a script, while I'm writing any short story or epic novel.

My muses are always there, helping me all the way from the blank page to the last draft of a new project. They are actors and actresses, friends and soulmates, fellow authors and writers, directors, songs... They are my best source of inspiration. They are all so real for me even when I've ever met any (well... a lot of) them.

Do you wanna know more about them? Who they are and why are they a source of inspiration for me? You should keep reading because I'll feature one of my muses every week. You will meet the biggest one (clue: she is an actress, English born and Oscar winner). You will know about meeting one of them at my current job... and you will find about that one place in the World where I always feel like I'm already living my dreams.

Muses. They are all around us... we just need to find them!

Every story starts with me, the writer, looking at that terrifying blank page. My hand trembling, my mind lost... This is the start, the idea... and the picture featured to open this "blog" is just a glimpse of my writing desk. There you have some books about screenwriting and filmmaking, books writen by those I admire (Tina Fey, Amy Poehler...). There's a notebook from London and a beautiful pen from Harry Potter... and even an Oscar made of golden paper!

This is the first idea... the origin of everything you will know about me.
